The Director General of the National Oil spill Detection and Response Agency represented the Honorable Minister of Environment, Federal Ministry of Environment, Nigeria at the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) Ministerial Roundtable. This event took place at Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Change Conference on 15, November 2022.
At the roundtable participants, reviewed the progress made since COP 26. Commitments were reaffirmed to quickly reduce emissions of methane and other short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), as well as building on the Global Methane Pledge launched in 2021.
