Mrs. Lilian Abieyuwa Iyamu is an distinguished Legal and Human Resources professional with extensive experience in public service administration. She currently serves as the Director of Human Resources Management at the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA), where she oversees personnel administration, staff development, appointments, promotions, and strategic workforce management.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons), Barrister-at-Law (B.L), Master’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy (M.I.L.D), and is a Doctoral Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resources Management (CIHRM), Nigeria.
Mrs. Iyamu began her public service career at the National Eye Centre, Kaduna, under the Federal Ministry of Health, where she served in several capacities, including Head of Establishment Matters and Head of the Legal Unit. She also served as Secretary to the Board of Management and a member of key statutory committees.
Since joining NOSDRA in June 2015, she has risen from Assistant Director to Director HRM. She also serves as Chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) and continues to strengthen workforce administration through professional expertise in human resources management and leadership.
