The new Director General/Chief Executive (DG/CE) of National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA), Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke, has sought the support and cooperation of the entire staff in order to take the Agency to enviable heights.
Making this strong appeal during his familiarization visit to the Agency’s Headquarters in Abuja on Friday, the DG/CE thanked the staff, led by the management, for the warm reception given to him on his arrival.
Engr. Woke enjoined the staff to work together with him in unison to enable NOSDRA contribute significantly to the realization of the leadership mandate of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu based on his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigerians.
According to him, with God, apart from intense commitment of the staff to work as one family, the Agency will mark a new tapestry in efforts to deliver on its statutory mandate.
He assured fairness, inclusivity and open door policy for the staffers, while warning against those who might try to throw spanner in the work of his mission of taking NOSDRA to greater heights.
Before his appointment as the DG/CE of NOSDRA, Engr. Woke had a stellar stint, among others, as former staff of Environmental, Safety and Operations Departments of the defunct Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Chief of Staff to the former Governor Nyesom Wike administration in Rivers State and a former Chairman of Emohua LGA of the state.
